Everything in the universe, and even beyond that, can be argued to have been created or molded or conjured or any other form of 'came to be through...'

Yet that does not apply to space. Space was, is and will always be the one true infinite. Space cannot have come to existence, because if there was an entity creating things, it would need space to create within. Even beyond that, if there was an entity, that entity occupies a space.

Similarly, space could not have come to be when our universe was born. It could not have started with the big bang.

You can argue that space as we know it, this fabric that is part of spacetime is possibly directly related to our universe. Or maybe has come to be when our universe was born.

Yet to me, it seems outrageous to think that the totality of space was created when this universe was as well. I'm not sure how we might have even posited such a notion! To even think that before our universe there was no space! Crazy!
